There is great news for WordPress lovers all over the world – for the 11th time in a row, WordPress has maintained its position as the fastest-growing CMS with a market share of 39.5%. According to the statistics released by W3Techs, it powers more websites than all the other Content Management Systems combined.
WordPress was born in 2002 as a forked version of the then famous blogging tool b2/cafelog. In 2015, it was used by just 25% of websites.
