WordCamp Nepal 2026, scheduled to take place from January 23–24, 2026, in Butwal, has opened calls for speakers and sponsors. The event will be hosted at Manigram Bishram Batika.
Call for Speakers
The team is seeking a diverse range of speakers, including both experienced presenters as well as first-timers, who can deliver talks, workshops, or discussions on WordPress. While suggested topics include development, design, marketing, business, emerging technologies, and community engagement, speakers are also welcome to propose other relevant topics.
Applicants can choose from several session formats, such as:
- Lightning Talks: Short, focused presentations lasting 10 minutes. These sessions do not include a Q&A opportunity.
- Long Talks: Presentations run for 30 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for Q&A.
- Panel Discussions / Fireside Chats: Interactive sessions of 60 minutes, including Q&A, featuring multiple experts who share different perspectives.
- Workshops: Hands-on sessions lasting from 90 minutes up to half a day, designed for participants to explore specific topics or skills in depth.
- Joint Talks: Ideal for collaborative presentations by two speakers, lasting 30 minutes with an additional 10 minutes for audience questions.
The deadline to apply is 31st October 2025.
Call for Sponsors
The sponsorship opportunities for WordCamp Nepal 2026 are available in three tiers: Platinum, Gold, and Silver. Each tier provides specific benefits, including a specific number of free tickets, on-site branding, logo placement on the event website and materials, social media recognition, and so on.
Sponsorship applications are accepted on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis.
