We celebrated the day at a beach resort and it was amazing to finally meet the whole team in-person after 2 long years.

- DuckDuckGo’s search deal prevents browser from blocking Microsoft trackers: It was discovered that DuckDuckGo’s mobile browser transfers data to Microsoft-owned properties when visiting certain websites.
- California Bill allows parents to sue for child’s social media addiction: The proposed law, which would only apply to social media platforms with at least $100 million in revenue last year, will allow parents to sue for up to $25,000 per violation.

- Microsoft finds severe bugs in Android apps from large mobile providers: The researchers found these vulnerabilities in a mobile framework owned by mce Systems exposing users to command injection and privilege escalation attacks.
- Patch released for cross-domain cookie leakage flaw in Guzzle: The maintainers of Guzzle, the hugely popular HTTP client for PHP applications, have addressed a high severity vulnerability. Drupal is among the applications that use the third-party library and has released software updates addressing the issue.
- Magniber ransomware has been upgraded again, aiming at win11: Win11 users beware! The transmission method is still various forums, cracked software websites, fake pornographic websites, etc.
