Last week again saw another surprising acquisition – Elementor acquired Strattic. Although the terms of the deal have not been officially disclosed, Elementor did reveal to TechRadar Pro that the acquisition has been in the works for the last two years.

- Google to pay $118 million to settle gender discrimination lawsuit: Google is also required to have an independent labor economist evaluate its hiring practices and pay equity studies.

- Massive Facebook Messenger phishing operation generates millions: Researchers have uncovered a large-scale phishing operation that abused Facebook and Messenger to lure millions of users to phishing pages, tricking them into entering their account credentials and seeing advertisements.
- New ‘PacMan’ flaw in Apple Silicon: The team at MIT’s Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Laboratory found that Apple’s implementation of pointer authentication in the M1 system-on-chip can be overcome with a specific hardware attack they’ve dubbed “PACMAN.”
