- Roadmap to WP 6.2: WordPress 6.2 is set to be released on March 28th. The main focus of this release is refinement and ease, with significant improvements in the site editing experience.
- WordPress 6.2 Beta 1 released: One of the major highlights of this release includes the new distraction-free mode, which offers a more focused writing experience that hides unnecessary interface elements from the editor. - Apply to attend the 2023 Community Summit: The Community Summit is an intimate, in-person gathering of contributors from across the WordPress open source project. Attendance will be determined based on an application and selection process.
- Developer Hours is returning: They are discussion and question-and-answer events aimed at developers working with WordPress. Anyone is welcome to attend, whether you are a freelancer or work in an agency.
- Celebrate 20 years of WordPress with commemorative logos: To mark 20 years, a unique set of 20th-anniversary commemorative logos for everyone to use and enjoy have been published.
- The end of Phase 2 of the Gutenberg project is approaching: The overall scope and product experience is coming into place and out of its beta state. - Microsoft announces ChatGPT capabilities coming to Bing: Microsoft is introducing ChatGPT-like capabilities to its Bing search engine and Edge browser.
- Google launches Bard, its answer to ChatGPT: Bard is an experimental conversational AI service powered by LaMDA, that was soft-launched to a set of “trusted testers.”
- Twitter is down, globally: Multiple sources and reports claimed that Twitter was down for users across the globe yesterday.

- Multiple authenticated SQL Injection fixed in WP Statistics plugin version <= 13.2.10: These vulnerabilities allow any authenticated user with at least the Subscriber user role to perform SQL injection.
- Multiple vulnerabilities patched in Quick Restaurant Menu Plugin: This plugin is vulnerable to Missing Authorization, Insecure Direct Object Reference, Cross-Site Request Forgery as well as Cross-Site Scripting in versions up to, and including 2.0.2.
- High-severity XSS vulnerability in Metform Elementor Contact Form Builder: The vulnerability, an unauthenticated stored cross-site scripting vulnerability, is arguably the most dangerous variant of cross-site scripting as it provides the easiest path to site takeover.
- Google Ads now hijacked to target password manager users: Cybercriminals have increasingly been abusing the Google Ads platform to trick unsuspecting users into clicking on fake websites that spread malware.
