- The lawsuit that could rewrite the rules of AI copyright: Microsoft, GitHub, and OpenAI are being sued for allegedly violating copyright law by reproducing open-source code using AI. But the suit could have a huge impact on the wider world of artificial intelligence.
- YouTube brings photo editing & quizzes to community posts: YouTube is giving creators new tools to work with when publishing community posts, with the addition of photo editing features and interactive quizzes.
- Google Ads account managers shouldn’t contact clients directly: According to the reports, agencies who don’t respond to emails from Google Ads account managers are being met with threats from Google reps to contact clients directly.
- Google Search adds new spam policy: Policy circumvention: Google said if you violate this new policy, Google may restrict or remove the content from showing up in search or for some search features.
- Google is testing new Rewarded Ad Gate beta program for publishers: Google has just started testing a new rewarded ad beta program for publishers to serve their players long-form, playable ads.
- Google publishes document on more notable ranking systems: Google has published a new help document that talks about the more “notable” ranking systems Google has deployed over the years that are both currently in use and no longer in use in Google Search.
- Shopify is testing a new universal search feature: Google may have a new shopping competitor on its hands. Shopify is testing a new feature in its app that allows customers to search across all merchants on the platform.

- WordPress Vulnerability Report – November 23, 2022: Regular report from iThemes
- Google pushes emergency Chrome update to fix 8th zero-day in 2022: The high-severity flaw is tracked as CVE-2022-4135 and is a heap buffer overflow in GPU, discovered by Clement Lecigne of Google’s Threat Analysis Group on November 22, 2022.
- 5.4 million Twitter users’ stolen data leaked online — more shared privately: Over 5.4 million Twitter user records containing non-public information stolen using an API vulnerability fixed in January have been shared for free on a hacker forum.
- Docker Hub repositories hide over 1,650 malicious containers: Over 1,600 publicly available Docker Hub images hide malicious behavior, including cryptocurrency miners, embedded secrets that can be used as backdoors, DNS hijackers, and website redirectors.
- Remote Code Execution vulnerability found in Windows Internet Key Exchange: According to a new advisory recently shared by security company Cyfirma, the discovered vulnerabilities could have been exploited to target almost 1000 systems.

- Better image sizes plugin: It helps disable autogenerated image sizes and specify different focal point that will be in the focus while creating cropped versions of the image.
- HelpGent plugin: It allows you to have asynchronous video messaging to communicate with anyone, anytime, without needing to be available at the same time.
- VRTs – Visual Regression Tests plugin: It is a plugin to test your website for unwanted visual changes.

- WooCommerce 7.2 Beta 1 is out: This release introduces a guided tour of the WooCommerce In-App Marketplace located in WP-Admin > WooCommerce > Extensions.
- WooCommerce Blocks 9.0.0 released: This release contains bug fixes and enhancements, including the option to customize the Products by Attribute template from the Site Editor and improving product blocks performance by removing cart fragments support.
- MainWP 4.3 is available: It has added features such as Client Management, a new and intuitive way of managing plugins, themes, updates and a new default theme.
- BuddyPress 11.0.0 to limit JavaScript and CSS asset loading: BuddyPress core will progressively move towards loading only the assets it needs in community areas. This update will still load JS and CSS everywhere but will offer a filter that users can add to their bp-custom.php files in order to keep BP assets on community pages only.
- Elementor 3.9 developers update: Elementor 3.9 and Elementor Pro 3.9 include interesting updates like smaller CSS assets, automating CSS generation, and lazy load for background images.
- Wordfence 7.8.0 is out: This release has several fixes to make Wordfence even more robust, and includes a fundamental change in the way the signup works.

- Meet Hurl: It is a command line tool that runs HTTP requests defined in a simple plain text format and can also be used for fetching data, testing HTTP sessions and testing XML / JSON APIs.
