- Gutenberg 14.7 released: The latest 14.7 release adds color to template parts and reusable blocks in the list view, block toolbar, and block selection outlines.
- Drupal Gutenberg 2.6 released with Drupal 10 compatibility: Drupal Gutenberg, the Gutenberg module for Drupal created by Frontkom, has released version 2.6 with compatibility for Drupal 10.

- PHP 8.2 is now available on WordPress.com: PHP version selection is available to all WordPress.com Business and Ecommerce sites with hosting features activated.
- The WordPress team redesigned the Showcase section: Changes include supplementary metadata, simplified submission criteria, improvements to legacy content, and a much-improved mobile page layout.
- Twitter expands Community Notes to all users: Twitter is rolling out Community Notes worldwide, allowing everyone to view and rate fact checks contributed by other users.
- Twitter’s newsletter tool is shutting down on January 12th: Twitter will be shutting down its newsletter product, known as Revue on January 12th, 2023. People won’t be able to access their accounts after that date, and all the service’s data will be deleted.
- Google launches visual guide to search elements: Google launched a visual guide with illustrations and definitions of the most common search results features. Google also launched a new Google Search status dashboard.
- Google Question Hub to close down: Google will shut down the Google Question Hub on January 15, 2023, about two years after the service launched in the United States and several years after it quietly launched in regions like India.
- Google search retires Web Light: It was Google’s mechanism to serve pages and content faster. Google said this feature is no longer needed these days, as providers and devices are now faster. Google also joined Mozilla and Microsoft in removing support for TrustCor Systems certificates.
- Google Analytics 4 rolling out built-in landing page report: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is rolling out built-in functionality that allows users to generate landing reports.
- Microsoft now requires verification for UK Financial Services advertisers: Microsoft will allow only advertisers duly authorized by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to present regulated financial promotions in the UK.

- High-severity memory safety bugs patched with latest Chrome 108 update: Google announced a Chrome update that resolves eight vulnerabilities in the popular browser, including five reported by external researchers.

- WooCommerce 7.2.0 released: It has new stack layout for product task and new actions and new filters.
