The WordPress Accessibility Team is seeking two new Team Reps to join their ranks. These new representatives will take over from Nazmul Hasan Robin and Rishi Mehta.

The Role of The Test Team Reps
The responsibilities of the team reps will include gathering updates from accessibility working groups to prepare meeting agendas, leading the team’s bi-weekly discussions on the Make Accessibility Slack channel, and documenting meeting notes while sharing key updates with other teams as needed.
Meet the Nominees
- Krupa Nanda – a QA Engineer, and she was also one of the WCEU2024 Test Table Leads (remote) on Contributor Day. She has participated in various WordCamps as a speaker (WCAhmedabad 2023, WCNagpur 2024) and also as a volunteer (WCAhmedabad 2023). In addition, she is currently a Test Team Rep (2024–2025, serving until October 2025) and also a mentor for the test team through the WPMentorship Program Cohort Oct 2024(Q3).
- Nasim Miah – A WordPress developer based in Malaysia with six years of experience building websites, plugins, and themes for individuals, companies, and nonprofits. Since beginning his contributions in 2023, he has been active across multiple teams, including Core, Training, Translation, Test, and Accessibility. He has developed custom plugins such as a WordCamp attendees QR check-in system using Camptix and a shortcode-based dynamic footer year updater, along with creating performance-focused, responsive, and SEO-friendly themes. Currently, he is also a mentor in the Training Team Guide Program and also organizes WordCamps, and regularly hosts meetups and community presentations.
- Muhammad Yeasin – Co-Organizer of the WordPress Dhaka Meetup Chapter, and has been actively involved in numerous WordCamps. Starting as an attendee at WCKolkata 2019 and WCDhaka 2019, volunteering at WordCamp Kent 2020, Wordcamp India 2021, WordCamp Neo 2021, WCAsia 2023, WCSylhet 2023, WCEurope 2023, and WordCamp Iloilo 2023. He also took on organizing roles for WordCamp Neo 2021 and served as a Polyglots Table Lead at WordCamp Sylhet in both 2023 and 2024. He will also be an organizer for WordCamp Dhaka 2025 and is currently focused on expanding the CampusConnect program in Bangladesh.
- Sharon Rieger – A designer with several years of experience working in WordPress and Drupal, particularly with nonprofit organizations.
- Melita Poropat – A WordPress developer with 15 years of experience working on diverse projects, specializing in performance, scalability, and security. More recently, she has focused on accessibility, implementing inclusive features for a large-scale German e-commerce pharmacy system built on WordPress Multisite.
