Nominations Open for Torque’s Plugin Madness 2021

WP Engine, one of the world’s most trusted WordPress technology companies has announced that nominations are now open for Torque’s Plugin Madness 2021. Plugin Madness competition is a bracket-style competition that pits the best plugins from around the community against each other.

Plugin Madness is run by Torque, WP Engine’s editorially-independent digital publication for the WordPress industry and a leading resource for WordPress news. The sixth edition of the contest will have 64 WordPress plugins nominated by Torque readers in four groups – eCommerce, Maintenance, Marketing and Organization. From the 64 plugins, one WordPress plugin champion is selected from a gruelling set of matchups that culminate in a final round.

The Voting Schedule

WordPress lovers can nominate their favourite plugins till March 01, 2021,  here. The voting schedule lasts one week for each round, beginning at midnight:

  • March 15—Round 1 (64 entrants)
  • March 22—Round 2 (32 entrants)
  • March 29—Round 3 (16 entrants)
  • April 5—Round 4 (8 entrants)
  • April 12— Round 5 (4 entrants)
  • April 19— Round 6 (2 entrants)
  • April 26— Winner Announced

Hattrick for Elementor?

Elementor, the leading WordPress website builder was the winner in the previous two editions of the competition and it will be interesting to see if they can retain the title with the latest price hikes they announced.
