After the resounding success of last year’s inaugural edition, WordPress Campus Connect 2025 Ajmer is all set for its second edition. The 2024 event, the first of its kind in the city, saw the participation of four colleges and introduced WordPress along with the various career opportunities to a total of 400 students.
This year, the initiative aims to reach even more campuses and students. Now the team is looking for members from the community to join the organizing team, who are willing to contribute to different areas like communications, design, college outreach, sponsorship, programs, and event-day operations.
The Organizing Opportunities Across Key Teams
Here’s a look at the teams, along with the roles and responsibilities where interested community members can contribute and be a part of:
Communications Team
The main focus of this team will be on amplifying the event’s presence through social channels and media outreach. Their work involves covering key moments of the event, producing creative content like short videos and interviews, handling online updates, and coordinating with media outlets to ensure the event gets noticed beyond the campus grounds.
Design & Technology Team
The responsibilities will be mainly related to the visual identity of the event, such as branding and maintaining the event website.
College Outreach & Logistics Team
This team handles coordination with host colleges and takes care of all the requirements to run the event smoothly. From securing permissions to arranging the venue setup, and so on.
Sponsorship Team
This team will focus on securing the resources needed to support the event. They will reach out to potential sponsors, manage communication, sponsorship packages, and benefits, and ensure sponsors receive proper recognition throughout the event.
Program Team
The responsibility is on planning and organizing all the talks and workshops.
Operations Team
They will handle all the requirements of the event day. This includes managing registrations, swag planning, arranging refreshments, and making sure everything is as per schedule.
